Reports from Italy indicate that LVMH brand Dior has acquired a tannery in Tuscany, Art Lab, as part of the vertical integration of its supply chain.

Art Lab specialises in prints and hand-finished leather. Over 30 years ago, the company was a pioneer in digital printing on leather and has worked with top fashion brands to provide a complete finishing service.

According to Dior chief executive, Pietro Beccari, the brand has a desire to integrate its supply chains in France and Italy and Art Lab can provide an important link in this process.
