New chair for European Roundtable for Beef Sustainability

Multistakeholder group the European Roundtable for Beef Sustainability has appointed Claire Donoghue from food group OSI Europe as its chair.

She will oversee the development of the sustainability platform, which launched in 2018 as a regional division of the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (GRSB).

Ms Donoghue has chaired ERBS’s Technical Working Group, which develops strategies to recognise national and local beef sustainability programmes.

Nicole Johnson-Hoffman, OSI’s chief sustainability officer, said: “As a founding member, and staunch supporter of sustainability roundtables, OSI is thrilled to have one of our own at the helm of a group we’ve been proud to work with.”
