GRSB to host sustainable beef conference in Asunción

Multi-stakeholder initiative the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (GRSB) will host a global conference on sustainable beef in Paraguay in 2020.

With the theme of ‘Advancing a healthy world: achieving responsible productivity’, the GRSB conference will take place in the Paraguayan capital, Asunción, from September 21-25, 2020. 

Founded in 2014, GRSB devotes itself to campaigning for, and helping to define, sustainability in the beef industry.

At its 2019 general assembly in Christchurch, New Zealand, it highlighted five priority areas for its work in the immediate future, including establishing global goals for sustainable beef organisations around the world and providing support for that network of organisations.
