The UK Leather Federation announces rebrand
13/02/2019
Announcing the rebrand, Leather UK said: “Whilst we retain our 110 year-old core purpose of representing the interests of the British tanneries, as laid out in our strategy, we have widened our remit to include supporting and promoting the interests of the entire leather supply chain in the UK.”
The organisation showcased its new look at the Pure Origin exhibition, which took place in London from February 10-12.
Among Leather UK’s aims for 2019 are building its new website, putting together the British Leather Directory and a number of other projects.
To mark its rebrand, the organisation has worked with the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT), part of the University of Northampton, to develop a series of animations about the leather industry. The first of these, which focuses on where leather comes from, can be found here. The animations are targeted at young consumers.
