Hermès commissions special art piece for second Melbourne store

Luxury brand Hermès has opened a second store in Melbourne, welcoming customers for the first time to a new location in Chadstone at the start of December.

To mark the occasion, Hermès commissioned Australian artist Anna-Wili Highfield to present a piece for the new store’s main window. She created a mechanical sculpture entitled Pegasus, constructing it from mixed media materials, including brass, canvas, feathers, spray paint and Hermès heritage leather.
