Hermès sets up e-commerce site in China

Luxury group Hermès has launched a new dedicated e-commerce platform for the Chinese market, according to reports in local media. 

The site carries womenswear and menswear, as well as the brand’s signature handbags (excluding the Birkin and Kelly models). It also offers fragrances and accessories, including footwear and jewellery. 

A number of other luxury brands, including Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton, have already established similar platforms in China in an effort to grab a slice of this lucrative market.
