LHTBI organises second cycling fundraiser
25/09/2018
A total of fourteen cyclists took part in the challenge from September 12-16. It involved cycling from the city of Chartres, famous for its large Gothic cathedral, to the port city of St. Malo in Brittany. It featured stop offs in Alencon and Ducey, as well as a visit to Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy.
The cyclists were: William Tusting, Susan Tusting, Ian Michel, Martin Pebody, Deborah Dow, Sarah Croft, Sarah Capel, Aubrey Capel, Penny Hales, Douglas Hansen-Luke, John Dingle, Paul Patrick, Paul McDowell and Mark Kermack.
It followed on from the success of the “London to Paris Cycle”, which LHTBI organised in 2015.
The organisation’s Chairman and committee expressed their appreciation for all the cyclists who took part and for all the sponsors of the event.
