Change of venue for LHTBI

The UK’s Leather and Hide Trades’ Benevolent Institution (LHTBI) has given early notice that its annual general meeting and lunch event will take place in a different venue from usual.

The Leathersellers’ Company is relocating owing to the re-development of its City of London headquarters, work that will take an estimated four years to complete.

LHBTI said it wanted to let its members and supporters know about the 2011 event at an early date to allow people to note it in their new diaries for 2011. The annual general meeting and lunch will take place on Thursday, May 26 with another City of London liveried company, the Pewterers’ Company, lending its headquarters for the occasion. The venue will be Pewterers’ Hall, Oat Lane, London EC2V 7DE.
