Ferragamo strengthens as it eyes brand relaunch

Italian luxury group Salvatore Ferragamo has announced the appointment of Riccardo Vannetti as its chief marketing officer. He will take up his new position on July 5.

In this role he will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all marketing and communication activities related to Ferragamo’s brand strategy. 

He started his professional career as a freelance journalist and has since held leadership positions at a number of international companies. 

Ferragamo has said Mr Vannetti’s appointment strengthens the group’s managerial structure as it seeks to pursue a "brand relaunching strategy”. This initiative is being led by executive chairman, Ferrucio Ferragamo.
