Each machine will be equipped with tablets through which the production phase is controlled, with a standard language, which is important for a company that employs people from 25 nationalities. Dani told local media the data will allow a continuous improvement of the process.
"As is the case in Industry 4.0, everything is in the network, which allows us to check the status of each order at any time and to respond quickly to customer needs," said manager Alessandro Maruzzo.
Industry 4.0 creates what has been called a "smart factory".
The group has operations in Tunisia, Slovenia and Moldova and employs 1,200 people, with about 680 in Italy. This year, sales are expected to exceed €200 million.
