Gruppo Dani celebrates environmental and OHS certification

Arzignano-based leather manufacturer Gruppo Dani has received formal certification from Oslo-based standards body DNV GL for its environmental and occupational health and safety management systems. The certification is in accordance in with ISO standards 14001 and OHSAS standard 18001.

DNV GL presented the certificates to the tanning group’s managing director, Giancarlo Dani, at a ceremony in Arzignano in mid-June.

Gruppo Dani pointed out at the time of the presentation that it took a conscious decision ten years ago now to be a sustainable company, recognising the social and environmental responsibilities that go with that. It said achieving ceritification from DNV GL was a testament to the progress it has achieved.
