Deadline approaches for IULTCS Young Leather Scientist Grant

The International Union of Leather Technologists’ and Chemists’ Societies (IULTCS) has issued a reminder that the deadline to apply for the 2018 Young Leather Scientist Grant is October 31.

Those wishing to be consider are asked to submit their applications for this research award as soon as possible so that it can be reviewed by the IULTCS Research Commission. 

The 2018 award is again sponsored by automotive seating supplier Lear Corporation. The scientist who submits the winning proposal will receive €1,500 to be put towards a leather research project in 2018.

In a change to previous years, the IULTCS has opened the programme to applicants aged 35 and under, raising the age limit from 30.
