Hermès is the latest to put artisan skills on public display
23/11/2016
The Carreau du Temple exhibition space in central Paris was the venue for the week-long event in November and entry was free. Artisans representing 10 different crafts took part, working in front of the public to demonstrate how Hermès products, including handbags, gloves and saddles, are made.
A discussion programme was also part of the event, with the work Hermès and other companies are doing to develop new generations of artisans one of the main subjects.
