Lectra holds conference on future of automotive leather

Cutting technology provider Lectra recently hosted a global conference to discuss the future of automotive leather and examine the impact of digital transformation.

The conference, which took place at Lectra’s International Advanced Technology and Conference (IATC) centre in Bordeaux-Cestas, was held under the banner of “Go Digital: Increasing Flexibility in the Automotive Leather Value Chain” and brought together experts and market leaders to offer insight into the digitalisation of leather cutting. Among the topics covered was the sustainability of bovine leather.

During the event professionals from all areas of the automotive leather industry had the opportunity to exchange views with their peers on the challenges facing their businesses and issues regarding manufacturing.
