Growth for Brazil’s beef exports

Beef exports from Brazil in March showed substantial year-on-year growth.

Packers shipped 140,000 tonnes of beef in the course of the month, bringing in export revenues of $518 million.

These figures represent growth of 21.4% in volume and of 7.8% in value compared to the same month in 2015. Egypt, China and Saudi Arabia were among the top-ten importers of Brazilian beef in March.
