Intertek adds leather testing to expanded Shanghai footwear lab

Testing group Intertek is doubling its Shanghai-based footwear testing capabilities to offers customers in the region a more comprehensive leather and footwear testing solution.

The expanded lab includes the addition of advanced leather and footwear laboratory testing equipment, such as the James Slip Resistance Tester, GB Non-marking Tester and Leather Optical Microscope.

It has also expanded its testing capabilities for safety shoes, finished shoes and China’s GB footwear standards.

In addition to the Shanghai lab, Intertek’s runs footwear facilities in Guangzhou, Xiamen and Ningbo.
