Northampton’s Institute for Creative Leather Technologies appoints tannery manager

The University of Northampton’s Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT) has appointed David Sherwood to manage its on-site teaching tannery, the only one of its kind.

David Sherwood has almost 40 years of commercial experience gained at suede specialist C F Stead & Co, a Leeds, UK-based tannery.

“David’s knowledge and experience will be of great contribution to the world-class teaching and research delivered by ICLT with ultimate enrichment of the student experience,” said Rachel Garwood, ICLT director.
