University of Northampton scores success in student employability

03/07/2015
The University of Northampton has been named as one of the top four universities in the UK for student employability. The university, which is home to the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT), achieved 96% success in students going into work or further study within six months of graduating.

Vice-chancellor, Professor Nick Petford said of the results: “Our employability figure remains consistently strong at 96%. This is great news for the university and for all our students; whether new graduates, undergraduates or those still contemplating their future education options. The statistics recognise our commitment to the employability prospects of our graduates. We know that our graduates leave us with more than just great qualifications in their chosen field.”

The University of Northampton is one of the few universities in the world offering degree courses in leather technology, and, in its own right, the ICLT boasts a 100% employability record for its students.
