Special Trumpler events supports Northampton leather students
As in previous years, leather chemicals manufacturer Trumpler recently set up a week of special support for students at the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT) at the University of Northampton.

Hosted by Trumpler’s Kevin Banning, the event consisted of a series of practical leather manufacturing sessions, supported by discussions and presentations, with the aim of giving the ICLT students additional industrial and technical experience in leather production.

This year, there was a special emphasis on vegetable-tanned material, with the students taking part in exercises to produce semi-chrome and full veg leathers from Nigerian goat and vegetable tanned kipsides sourced from India, Nigeria and Bangladesh.
