The awards are hosted by The Heritage Crafts Association, which has Prince Charles as its president and promotes traditional heritage crafts in partnership with government and key agencies.
Equus exports its hand-crafted leather goods, including watch straps, belts and dog collars to over 60 countries.
Charlie Trevor, who has been making saddlery and leathergoods since 1995, manages the creative and design side of the business, while his wife Dawn handles the day-to-day running of the company.
Mr Trevor (pictured, left) said: “We’re delighted to have won this prestigious award, which is a testament to the hard work, time and effort we put into delivering quality products to the world.”
The award was handed out at the Heritage Crafts Association’s annual conference at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
