Technicians from 23 countries vie for IULTCS congress spots

More than 180 abstracts from 23 countries have been submitted for presentation during the International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS) congress in November.

Organisers are expecting 1,000 attendees at the Brazilian event, including technicians and tanneries, chemical and components industries representatives, as well as students and researchers.

"Professionals connected to the leather sector from nearly every continent have sent their productions, which shows how relevant the event is to the industry,” said Roberto Kamelman, president of the organising committee.

The XXXIII IULTCS Congress’ takes place between November 24 and 27 in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul.
