IULTCS launches Facebook page

The International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS) has set up a Facebook page to keep the industry up to date with the organisation’s activities.

“Online social media facilitates global discussions,” said IULTCS president Dr Patricia Casey, who will lead the site. 

“These forums allow rapid sharing of information – especially on mobile platforms – and are increasingly where today’s opinions on key topics are formed. The speed of interchange of ideas and the democratic nature of such communications are changing the way people interact and decisions are made.”

Readers can access the site directly on Facebook or through the IULTCS website.

World Leather also has a Facebook site where readers can find out about topics in the latest magazines, as well as company initiatives such as Tannery of the Year and Beast to Beauty conferences.
