Organisers of the Asia Pacific Leather Fair have announced 26,685 visitors from 86 countries visited Materials, Manufacturing & Technology (MM&T) and Fashion Access in Hong Kong at the start of April.

Chinese visitors made up 38% at MM&T, those from Hong Kong 25%, from India 6%, Korea 5%, Taiwan and Japan 3%, while visitors from the US and Italy made up 2% each.

In all, 1,239 exhibitors representing 54 countries took part.

Fringe activities included the International Leather Conference, Sourcing Luxury, Leather Forum, Focus Country France, Best of APLF Awards and the inaugural Global Footwear Retail Conference.
The next MM&T will be held between March 30 and April 1, 2016
