‘Leather expert’ Horween namechecked by US brand

A US-based leathergoods brand has focused on the fact the leather it uses is from Horween in the marketing for its latest collection, emphasising “quality and precision over mass production”.

Brewer-Cantelmo said its representatives had “expressed excitement” at the opportunity to partner with the tannery, “given its experience and history as a leather expert”.

Horween is one of the only tanneries that is regularly promoted to consumers as a sign of quality in finished products. Reebok and New Balance have ongoing relationships with the company, which has also been supplying leather for NFL footballs for 75 years.
