Leather option for two New Balance styles

Sportswear brand New Balance is offering two of its sneaker models in leather from US tannery Horween Leather Company. The option will be available with the New Balance 1300 and New Balance 998.

The 1300 will be available in neutral brown shades of leather with grey accents. The 998 is offering in black leather with hints of grey. Both will carry embossed branding on the tongue and heel.

Horween, based in Chicago, US, is one of the few tanneries in the world that still produces genuine shell cordovan leather, the material for which it is best known.
