‘Complete facelift’ for Simac and Tanning Tech
Organisers of tanning and footwear machinery fairs Simac and Tanning Tech have said they "can’t wait" to show off the new exhibition.
Taking place at Milan Rho Fair between February 25 and 7, the event covers 20% more space than it did last year and will host 270 exhibitors from 16 countries. It will be co-located with Lineapelle following its move from Bologna.
Amilcare Baccini, CEO of Simac Tanning Tech, said: “We’ve had a complete facelift, and can now offer exhibitors and visitors alike a whole new fair, full of smart technologies to guarantee you a better, more productive expo experience.”
New features include The Leather Square, with a working tanning machine from yesteryear and original tanned leather from the 1940s made using natural techniques applied 70 years ago.
A Lounge Area will give visitors a chance to relax, while a special space has been reserved for ICE, the Italian Trade Agency, promoting the internationalisation of Italian companies.
