11/07/2014
Tanneries and leather suppliers such as Boxmark will be promoting aviation-focused leather lines at the US-based event.
“The aircraft interiors market is fast-changing and with its Americas focus, the conference will be an ideal platform to discuss the issues surrounding cabin innovation, consumer expectations and strategies for profitability,” said Vern Alg, a consultant for Aircraft Interiors Expo.
According research firm MarketsandMarkets, the commercial aircraft cabin interior sector is estimated to reach nearly $13 billion this year and is expected to grow to over $17.2 billion by 2019 at an annual growth rate of 6%.
Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America are expected to grow rapidly, due to the increasing number of aircraft orders and expanding air travel in these regions.
