Atlantic promotes fish leather for interior design

Atlantic Leather is promoting fish skin to interior designers by offering it in ready-stitched panels.

The Icelandic tannery sews the skins together in rectangles 40cm x 60cm which it says makes it suitable for screens, furniture, yachts and cars.

Panels are available in all four fish-leather species produced by Atlantic Leather: salmon, perch, wolffish and cod.

“Fish leather is not just brilliant for shoes, clothes or accessories. Fish leather is an excellent raw material for all kinds of interior design,” it said.
