US designer favours fish leather from Atlantic

“Fish leather’s textural quality and body are the greatest attraction to me, combined with the fact that Atlantic Leather has a great colour palette to work with and can reproduce custom colours with great hues,” said Mr Locke.
“My accessory designs have always been centered around the concept of lasting integrity and using distinctive natural materials. I strive to give the market a product that can endure and isn’t designed for replacing every season because it does not wear well or looks dated.”
He discovered Atlantic Leather in 2010 at a show in Italy, and his fish leather designs will be launched in the autumn.
