Bentley celebrates 80 years of Crewe craftsmanship

Bentley Motors has marked 80 years of vehicle production at its Crewe, UK, headquarters with the unveiling of a one-off Continental GTC created through its Mulliner bespoke division.

The anniversary model features an exclusive Supernova Purple Ombre finish and a handcrafted cabin with bespoke design details, including embroidered “80” headrests and a custom fascia graphic celebrating Bentley’s Crewe heritage.

The launch formed part of a wider celebration at the Pyms Lane site, where 107 Bentley vehicles spanning more than a century of the marque’s history were displayed by members of the Bentley Drivers Club.

Bentley said the milestone reflects the continued role of craftsmanship alongside advanced manufacturing technologies as the company transforms Crewe into its next-generation Dream Factory.

The Crewe facility has been home to Bentley vehicle production since 1946 and continues to combine design, engineering and handcrafted manufacturing for the company’s luxury vehicles.
