Bentley publishes responsible sourcing policy

Bentley Motors has published a Responsible Raw Material Sourcing Policy Statement covering leather, wool and wood veneers as part of its Beyond100+ strategy.

The policy sets updated requirements on animal welfare, sustainable forestry and ethical supply chains, with a risk-based due diligence approach and stronger supplier traceability and transparency standards. It is aligned with the Volkswagen Group responsible sourcing framework.

For leather, suppliers must meet EU or equivalent animal welfare laws and use recognised certification and third-party verification. For wood, materials must comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation and UK Timber Regulations, with increased use of certified and lower-impact alternatives.

Bentley said the policy strengthens oversight across its supply chain and will continue to evolve alongside regulatory and industry expectations.
