Two-tone theme for new Bentley design

Automotive group Bentley Motors has introduced a new design theme for its Supersports category, the designation it uses for the most powerful versions of its Continental GT cars.

The design includes a paint-fade from one side of the car to the other, for the first time on Bentley cars.

There are options of bold colours that run along the driver’s side of the car, from front to rear: dragon red, electric blue or a proprietary cream colour called Pale Brodgar. These contrast with darker colours on the other side.

Bentley said its aim was to highlight “the driver-focused nature” of its Supersports category. It adds that the two-tone design is inspired by “the energy and precision of motorsport”.

Naturally, the design theme also specifies two contrasting colours in the interior.  These cars are two-seat only. Leather of a brighter colour surrounds the driver, with a darker tone reserved for the passenger side.

The leather also features a Supersports-specific perforation pattern.
