The 6th edition of BFSHOW, held from May 18 to 20 in São Paulo, is expected to generate more than $46.7 million in exports for the footwear sector. 

According to Brazilian footwear industries association Abicalçados, 1.5 million pairs were sold on-site, generating $ 20.6 million in business. 

Letícia Sperb Masselli, Abicalçados business manager, said this is 7% more than at last year’s show. “The deals generated during the event indicate a gradual recovery in footwear exports.”

In addition to the buyers invited through the buyer programme, BFSHOW welcomed more than 1,000 importers from 60 countries. 

The next edition will take place between November 10 and 12.
