Leather Naturally updates branding and promotes World Leather Day

At the breakfast meeting at the APLF exhibition in Hong Kong, Leather Naturally introduced a new brand identity and announced plans to promote this year’s World Leather Day.

The rebranding is based on four pillars – truth, inform, inspire and connect – which the organisation said guide its communications with members and consumers.

As part of the project, it has launched an updated logo with a more modern design, alongside a new LN mark and a logo mark that represents collagen, reflecting leather’s natural structure. The colour palette has also been refreshed, moving from darker tones to brighter colours to create a lighter, more contemporary look.

Imagery used in communications is also being updated to show how leather is produced and used, while including visuals that reflect younger audiences. Updated brand guidelines are now available and the new visual identity is already being used in exhibition displays.

The organisation has also relaunched its website following feedback that the previous version was difficult to navigate. The new site has a revised structure designed to make information easier to find.

It is also encouraging participation in World Leather Day on April 29. This year’s theme, “Make It Leather”, promotes three messages – moving from volume to value, from disposability to durability and from trend-driven consumption to long-term craftsmanship.
