Leather Naturally highlights best practice in water management
Leather Naturally has published an educational resource exploring water management practices and the links to environmental sustainability and climate resilience.
The report, Sustainable Water Management in the Leather Industry, seeks to equip stakeholders with the tools to work together on water management.
It was developed using insights gathered through a public consultation last year, and draws on insights from a Life Cycle Assessment study conducted by Leather Naturally, supported technically by SPIN360.
This publication is intended for industry professionals, sustainability leaders, suppliers, brands and policymakers, and includes case studies from the Confederation of National Associations of Tanners and Dressers of the European Community (COTANCE), Igualadina de Depuració i Recuperació, ISA TanTec, JBS Couros and PrimeAsia Leather Company.
