Garda Bags celebrates 100th edition
The 100th edition of trade show Riva Schuh and Garda Bags has closed in Italy, with around 9,000 visitors and 1,200 exhibitors at the Riva del Garda show.

It offered workshops dedicated to the accessories market, ‘The bags people will love in the coming seasons’, run by Milan-based footwear and leather school Arsutoria and led by Maria Cristina Rossi.

This year, Riva Schuh chose US-based Soles4Souls as its charity partner. It receives shoe and clothing donations and distributes them through various programmes around the world.

Since 2006, Soles4Souls has prevented more than 53 million pairs of shoes going to landfill, it said, distributing them in 137 countries.
