Loro Piana doubles down on private clients in Dubai
LVMH-owned luxury brand Loro Piana’s Dubai flagship has reopened following renovations that render it "first in the world" to present the company’s new boutique concept.
So designed to deliver a “timeless” take on the Italian house’s heritage, the two-story store’s interiors draw upon the rich legacy of Sergio Loro Piana and is largely constructed from natural materials, in a nod to the business’ modus operandi since its 1924 founding.
Its façade, for example, is decorated with handmade terracotta ceramic tiles, arranged to reflect the texture and draping of Loro Piana fabrics by architects Jun Aoki and Yoshihiko Takeuchi.
The first floor is reserved for VIP clients to encounter the brand’s latest collections, including an exclusive Dubai Mall capsule, in “exclusive comfort and complete privacy”.
