LVMH’s leather division grows revenues by 30%
Luxury group LVMH has reported revenues of €56.5 billion for the first nine months of 2022, an increase of 28% year on year.
Its leathergoods and fashion division contributed €27.8 billion towards the total. This represents growth of more than 30% compared to the same months in 2021.
“Louis Vuitton shone again,” it said, “driven by an exceptional creativity and the quality of its products.”
Of its other leathergoods bags, it said Christian Dior had continued to achieve growth in all its product lines, Celine had seen “very strong growth resulting from the success of Hedi Slimane’s creations”, as did Loewe, driven by “the strong creativity of Jonathan Anderson”.
It also mentioned good momentum at Loro Piana and at Fendi, which had celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of its Baguette bag (pictured) “with an exceptional fashion show in New York”.
