LVMH takes its water conservation targets up at notch

12/07/2023

Paris-based luxury leathergoods group LVMH has published its global water conservation plan, part of the LIFE 360 programme it first announced in December 2020.

Already, company-owned fashion and leathergoods house, Loro Piana, has revealed it lowered its water consumption by 25% between 2019 and 2022. LVMH attributes this to the installation of more efficient wastewater recycling equipment inside the brand’s main facility.

Citing the water situation in France, particularly, LVMH has scaled up its target for decreased water consumption to 30% by 2030.
