The LVMH Métiers d’Excellence You and Me tour has arrived in Italy, presenting leathergoods and other skills practiced in the group’s factories and workshops, along with over 1,000 job and training opportunities. 

Face-to-face meetings with artisans and representatives of the Maisons gave job seekers a chance to benefit from personalised career guidance.

Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH executive vice president of human resources and synergies, said: “From leathergoods, jewelry, or the shoe industry to retail, hospitality and restaurants, it is essential to ensure the transmission of these métiers that make Made in Italy shine throughout the world. It is precisely for these reasons that we wanted to promote the You and Me tour beyond the French borders and begin an extension of it in neighbouring Italy.” 

The traveling jobs and vocational training fair takes place from April to September, visiting Florence, Novare and Padua.
