Tirenna was founded in 1953 by Romano Giordani and is led by his children, Mario and Donatella.
The family run tannery bought competitor AL.VI.PEL in 2020, taking control of the business in 2022 but leaving it to be managed by brothers Fabrizio and Fiorello Morandi, according to local press.
In 2022, the group had 500 Italian customers and 150 overseas customers.
The company said: “Our target is based on the shared strategic lines, with aims to consolidate the relationships in the current commercial network and to create new partnerships with national and international businesses, with particular regard to the portion of the fashion and luxury sector not yet explored in its entirety.”
