Gruppo Mastrotto offers helping hand to community
Italian tanning group Gruppo Mastrotto has continued its charitable work with the donation of an accessible van to non-profit organisation S.O.G.I.T, which supports people in need in the Agno-Chiampo valley.

The van will enable ill and disabled people, as well as many children, to be transported to hospital and medical appointments.

The company presented the van at a ceremony attended by the mayors of Arzignano and Chiampo, the parish priest of Chiampo, the president of S.O.G.I.T. Andrea Fracca, Gruppo Mastrotto co-founder Santo Mastrotto and managers Renata Sartori and Giovanna Mastrotto.

Giovanna Mastrotto said: “Gruppo Mastrotto’s sustainability path is deeply rooted in its area and finds expression not only in environmental but also in social initiatives. The inauguration of this new vehicle is a tangible sign of our company’s presence in the area and how we listen to the needs of our neighbours.

“We also wish to thank our suppliers, to whom we have asked to take part in the project by replacing the usual Christmas gifts with donations, and they enthusiastically responded.”
