Leather Naturally publishes leather-making guide

Campaign group Leather Naturally has launched a free leather guide for designers who may have no formal leather experience, fashion students, and automotive and retail teams who want to be better informed about leather.
The Modern Cow Leather Processing Guide includes information about hide properties, leather processing, chemical management, test methods and leather types, as well as sustainability, biodegradability and water treatment.
It was edited by Dr Luis Zugno, head of innovation at chemicals group Buckman, and can be downloaded on the Leather Naturally site.
