Bright future for Capri
Luxury group Capri has reported a better-than-expected 24% increase in third-quarter revenues across its brands, Versace, Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors.

Versace revenue of $251 million increased 29% compared to the prior year. Jimmy Choo revenue of $178 million increased 47% and Michael Kors revenue of $1.18 billion increased 20%.

As a result, the group is raising its fiscal 2022 revenue and earnings guidance.

Capri CEO John Idol said: "We are especially proud of our performance given the ongoing headwinds caused by the pandemic, including regional restrictions and supply chain challenges."

In fiscal 2023, the group expects double digit revenue and earnings growth.

Mr Idol added: “The power of Versace, Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors position Capri Holdings to deliver multiple years of revenue and earnings growth."
