Double appointment at Leather Naturally
Dietrich Tegtmeyer, head of business development and industry relations at chemicals group TFL, has highlighted Leather Naturally’s potential as he joins the campaign group's supervisory council.
He said: “Leather Naturally can be proud of their achievements over the past 10 years.
"I strongly believe there is still a lot potential for growth. It should be our vision that Leather Naturally becomes the industry-wide multi-stakeholder initiative representing our business sector. Every tanner, supplier and brand should feel inspired to become a proud member.”
Carl Flach, senior director of strategy for tannery group ISA Tantec, has also become a member of the council.
He added: "Leather Naturally is getting stronger within the leather industry and its stakeholders. We now need to bring out the message to the designers and the customers in the street that leather is a durable, sustainable and beautiful material.”
