Beijing seizes record number of fakes for 2020

Major international brands including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, adidas and Ray-Ban were among those copied. The goods had been marked for export by a company in Linyi, Shandong province.
The seizure is the largest case of detected intellectual property infringement in China so far this year. For context, as of October 20 Beijing Customs had detected around 93,000 fake items (with a total value of over ¥2.3 million RMB or $343,930 USD) in 2020.
