Tapestry’s interim CEO made permanent
Luxury group Tapestry has officially appointed Joanne Crevoiserat as CEO, following the departure of Jide Zeitlin for personal reasons in July.

Mr Zeitlin had been in the role for less than a year, after taking over from Victor Luis in September 2019.

Ms Crevoiserat has served as the interim CEO since Mr Zeitlin’s departure.

She said: “Since joining the company over a year ago, I have been focused on unlocking the power of our talented teams by establishing clear priorities and building a culture of trust and empowerment.”

She was previously chief operating officer at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Susan Kropf, an independent member of Tapestry’s board since June 2006, will continue to serve as chair.

She said: “After completing a comprehensive internal and external search, the board unanimously concluded that Joanne is the best candidate to lead Tapestry’s next chapter of growth as CEO.”

Tapestry owns leathergoods brands Coach and Kate Spade, and footwear company Stuart Weitzman.
