Luxury group CEO resigns with immediate effect
New York-based luxury group Tapestry, the parent group of Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman, has announced that chief executive, Jide Zeitlin, has resigned with immediate effect. Tapestry said Mr Zeitlin’s departure was for personal reasons.
It said it would begin the search for a new chief executive right away. In the interim, chief finance officer, Joanne Crevoiserat, will be interim CEO of the group.
Company secretary, Todd Kahn, will be interim chief executive and brand president of Coach; the head of investor relations, Andrea Shaw Resnick, will be interim chief finance officer.
An independent director of Tapestry, Susan Kropf, has become chair of the board.
