Vladimir Ivanovich Tumanov, the chief mechanic at Russia’s Volga Tannery, has received an honorary diploma from the Governor of Tver region.

Under the supervision of Mr Ivanovich, the tannery developed new machinery and set up a collagen operation. 

He also helped to install the tannery’s treatment facilities and developed a metering station that enables water savings.

The tannery said in a statement: “Volga Tannery congratulates Vladimir Ivanovich on his award, and wishes him good health and new professional achievements!”
