Qatari investment fund completes sale of Anya Hindmarch
01/04/2019
Mayhoola first took a stake in Anya Hindmarch in 2012. At that stage, it owned around 40% of the business but it had since expanded its share to more than 75%.
Iranian-born businessman Javad Marandi and his wife Narmina already have stakes in fashion label Emilia Wickstead, wedding dress specialist Wed2be and hotel chain Soho House. The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
Local media reports have suggested the brand’s eponymous founder will remain as creative director as well as retaining her place on the company’s board.
